Episode 3 of Westworld Season 2 wasn't filler. "Virtù e Fortuna" is a vital link, the connective tissue that binds the bones Episode 1 with the muscle of Episode 2.

This Westworld Deep Dive explores:

  • Who is the woman in The Raj?
  • What is Ghost Nation's true purpose?
  • Do Dr. Ford and Bernard share a backstory?
  • What did Dolores accomplish at Fort Forlorn Hope?
  • And why did she intentionally slaughter her army?

Plus, Gene fits all of Bernard's Season 2 scenes into a linear story and finds the massive blind spot in it all.
